We are proud to introduce the ARSS15. This drop-in forced reset trigger fits AR-15 rifles. It reaches 700–900 rounds per minute while staying fully semi-automatic — both mechanically and legally.
Our team spent three intense months designing and testing it. We started with earlier open-source ideas. Then we set one clear goal: make the simplest, most reliable drop-in trigger possible. The result? Just four parts. Installation takes seconds. You need no modifications to the lower receiver. No filing, grinding, or fitting required.
Compatibility
- All mil-spec 90° selectors (standard 2- or 3-position KAK-style)
- M16 FA Ambi selectors (works with standard mil-spec triggers, single-stage triggers, or M16 fire-control groups)
- Geissele Automatics triggers — fully compatible when you install the Geissele Over Travel Device (OTD)
- Standard mil-spec or enhanced trigger pins
- Requires a full-auto profile bolt carrier group for proper function
- KAK 3 POS selector
Materials & Construction
- Reset lever and cam precision-machined from D2 tool steel using wire EDM
- Housing CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and hard-coat anodized
- Built and tested to survive long, high-rate firing sessions
How It Works
Here’s the cycle, step by step:
- You pull the trigger rearward. This releases the hammer and fires the round — just like a normal semi-auto trigger.
- Next, the bolt carrier moves rearward under gas pressure.
- While it moves back, the underside of the full-auto profile carrier pushes down on the ARSS15 reset lever.
- This motion travels through a simple cam. The cam then physically pushes the trigger forward into full reset.
- At this point, the trigger is locked. It cannot move rearward again until the bolt returns fully forward and locks into battery.
- Only after the bolt is locked and the disconnector hands the hammer back to the sear can you pull the trigger again.
- If you keep steady rearward pressure on the trigger, it fires the instant the bolt locks. The cycle then repeats.
This required return-to-battery lock is the key feature. It guarantees one separate trigger pull for every round. That is why the ARSS15 remains a legal semi-automatic fire-control part under current ATF rules (November 2025).
Summary
In short, the ARSS15 gives you the fastest practical semi-auto rate on the market. It uses only four parts, and has proven reliable over thousands of rounds. We still strongly suggest you get in installed by a certified quality gunsmith.
